A minimum non-refundable deposit of $250.00, or 50% of the catering quote if the event date is within 6 months, must be received to reserve the date for complete catering service. At that time we will need a completed "Event Questionnaire Sheet". We are available to answer questions or advise you on any concerns you may have while you are planning the event. We encourage a meeting / phone conference to read through the menu, timing, invitation information and special services desired by host family approximately ten weeks before the event date. Prices current at the time deposit is received will be honored at time of scheduled event, if date is within one year. An exact guest count must be guaranteed two weeks before the event. The client must pay for the number guests guaranteed regardless of no-shows or cancellations. However, additions can be made up to 48 hours before the event, per Moving Mountains Catering Co.'s (MMCC) approval. All final details for timing, set up, special diet requests, etc. must be given to MMCC two weeks before the event. Although we will certainly try to accommodate you at all times, any request for changes inside one week before the event are by approval only, and cannot be guaranteed. The final invoice must be paid one week before the event. 18% gratuity and tax will be added to all prices quoted. Final payment is expected via credit card on this day. If paying by money order, please hand deliver or FedEx on this day. Interest will be charged on all past due balances at 1.5% per month. There may be some costs that we have to compute the day of your event. This amended final invoice will be faxed or emailed to you after the event. Adults are anyone 12 years old and older will be charged full price. Children 4 to 11 years of age are half price for catered foods. Babies are 3 years and less have free catered foods. Client agrees to begin function promptly at the scheduled time. Functions starting late or running beyond specified time will be charged extra to cover cost of labor working the event. MMCC reserves the right to make reasonable substitutions if unable to secure specific items. Any substitutions will be made aware to the client. In the event of breach of this agreement by the client, MMCC will keep the deposit and the client shall be obligated to reimburse MMCC for any damage costs incurred by reason of breach thereof. $2.00 per mile, one-way travel fee is applied whenever the event location is more than 25 miles from our business address. Alcohol must be provided by the client. Bartenders can be provided, however, MMCC does not assume responsibility for the actions of any guest. We can assist you in coordinating with recommendations on Liquor Stores that deliver. MMCC assumes no responsibility for the conduct of guests, members and third parties hired to provide services. Client shall indemnify, hold harmless MMCC, its employees, owners and managers for and from any and all losses, claims, liability, damage, actions, judgment recovered from or asserted against them or other expense (including without limitation, attorney's fees and expenses) arising out of or relating to the client's use of MMCC services. Fixed cost are: Servers $35/hour 2 hour minimum. Chef's are $65/hour 2 hour minimum. Hourly charges are calculated from arrival at the event to the end of cleaning up. Gratuity: 18% will be added to your bill. Sales Tax: All catered events are subject to the appropriate sales tax for where the food is delivered. Within the City of Steamboat Springs is 8.4% and in Routt County is 3.9%.
